Internal Family Systems (IFS) Coaching

for Deep Healing and Wholeness

All inner healing involves bringing love and fear into contact with each other. When this essential condition is met, Love always “wins,” because Love can include fear, whereas fear cannot subsume Love.

Our IFS coaching program is rooted in the knowledge that each client has at their core the innate intelligence for connecting and healing. Sadly, access to this unblemished core can be shut off by overwhelming painful experience which has burdened parts of the client with negative beliefs and protective patterns. This is the definition of trauma, and our job as coaches is to facilitate our clients’ reconnection to their essential core to heal the burdened parts of themselves. We do this via the practice of respectful and welcoming Presence to all parts of our clients’ experience, inviting all to be known and understood for their role in the client’s survival of hurtful experience, and all to be healed and restored. Unlike psychotherapists, whose training compels orientation to a psychiatric diagnosis, we are trained as coaches to meet each client and all their parts on their terms. Together, we create the brave space for the client’s fears, shame, and unhealed wounds to be known, met, and healed by the essence of love at their core.

We encourage a commitment of 8-10 weeks to start, as healing is a process that takes trust, and trust takes time and focus. Our clients experience caring and skillful connectedness aimed at reopening their safety and attachment circuits to restore the calm setting of their nervous systems. As this calm setting is reestablished, body and mind are relieved of the burdens contributing to illness, enabling healing and authentic wholeness and harmony of the internal family of parts to emerge and be lived.

My practice is an ever-evolving weave of polyvagal orientation to nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems theory with somatic focus, and ketamine-assisted therapy. The living thread connecting these is kindly presence to my clients, their histories, and their parts.

I firmly believe that all beings possess an innate, organic, healing intelligence. I believe this because of my own journey of healing from complex trauma. Having experienced significant liberation from depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and debilitating pain, I am inspired to accompany others on the path of healing and psychospiritual growth.
